Melbet is the classic pin-knocking game Kayles, played on one or more rows of standing pins. On your turn you knock down either a single pin or two pins that stand directly next to each other - nothing else. Whoever knocks down the very last pin on the whole alley wins the round, so every early choice about where to strike quietly decides who is left facing an empty lane.
Across 20 lanes the alley grows: more rows appear, and rows run longer, giving you more ways to split the pins and more chances to slip. The rival is not a scripted opponent - it solves every position exactly with the same Sprague-Grundy nimber math mathematicians use to solve Kayles perfectly, so it never plays an illegal move and never misses a winning reply when one exists. Each lane is built so that, with correct play, you - who always move first - hold a winning line from the opening pin. Finding it is the whole game.
There is no way to buy a better rival or skip a lane's real difficulty; coins earned from clean, fast wins only unlock cosmetics. Progress is saved locally, stars reward speed and flawless play, and every lane can be replayed to sharpen your reading of the splits.
