About Rocket Round Leicester

Blasting its way across the city for 10 weeks from Monday 19th July 2021, Leicester will be brought to life by an out of this world trail of 40 giant and spectacular Rocket sculptures! The Rockets will form a stellar, free art trail through the city’s streets and open spaces, bringing together the community for an unforgettable event. Will you discover them all?

Schools, colleges and community groups have jumped aboard and decorated their own smaller version of our incredible rocket sculptures – The Junior Jet! Each Junior Jet’s will stand proudly on their own miniature trail across Leicester’s cultural hubs.

Ground Control will be sharing the Rocket sculpture and Junior Jet sculpture once the trail is live. When the Rockets blast off across the city, trail-goers will be able to launch straight into their space adventure with our official trail map and unlock rewards with our Rocket Round Leicester app.

We hope you’ll jump aboard our mission to have the best summer ever!
