The goals of za.ACCELERATE are:
1. Long-term (Years 3 & beyond) • Building SMEs who thought the adoption of technologies such as AI, robotics, 3D printing and IoT will place pressure on industry sectors namely
manufacturing, construction, financial, logistics, mining, agriculture, and aerospace.
2. Medium-term (Years 2 - 3) • Promote a culture of innovation specifically in small and medium enterprises by developing, promoting and commercialising their products by graduating
companies.
3. Short-term (Years 1 - 2) • Setup high-tech innovation and entrepreneurial incubator (physical space) that provides unique opportunities to transform creative ideas into real businesses startups.
