Surat al-Mulk is a Meccan surah, from al-Mufassal, its verses 30, and its arrangement in the Qur’an is 67, and it is the first surah in the twenty-ninth part, and it is also called Surat Al-Tabarak and Surat Al-Manjiah. It was revealed after Surat Al-Tur.
Ibn al-Drais, al-Bukhari, Ibn Mardawayh, and al-Bayhaqi reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas what he said: It was revealed in Mecca (“Blessed be He” [Al-Mulk: 1] “Al-Mulk” [Al-Mulk: 1]). Ibn Jarir narrated in his interpretation on the authority of Ad-Dahhak on the authority of Ibn Abbas what he said: “Blessed be He” [Al-Mulk: 1] “Al-Mulk” [Al-Mulk: 1]) was revealed about the people of Makkah except for three verses.
