In Glitch Wave, players enter a fantastical simulated space made up of data streams, where your main character constantly drifts along digital corridors. With a simple tap, players can change direction up or down to dodge dangerous objects constantly hurtling across the screen from both sides. Sometimes, giant data walls will suddenly sweep across the area. Each collision with an obstacle will cost you one unit of energy, and the journey ends when all energy is completely depleted. While navigating the simulated areas, players can use various special support skills to handle dangerous situations, such as creating a protective shield to block a collision, disintegrating the body into a stream of data to pass through obstacles in a few short seconds, or slowing down all surrounding movement for easier control. After completing each challenge, players will collect special Data Fragments which can be used to purchase additional skill uses in the shop. The achievements of each playthrough will also be saved in the leaderboard, allowing players to continue surpassing their own previous records. The game offers three simulated areas with completely different colors and paces; the deeper you go, the denser the obstacles become, forcing players to maintain focus and quick reflexes to survive as long as possible.
