Scalita: Real Piano Warmups
Real piano warmups for your range. From chest voice to whistle and subharmonics.
About Scalita: Real Piano Warmups
Scalita plays scales on a real Salamander Grand Piano while you sing along. You set your vocal range, it transposes everything to fit. That's the whole idea.
21 scales (major, minor, pentatonic, arpeggios, chromatic, Rossini patterns, and more), 14 routines that combine them into actual warmups: gentle openers, range builders, agility drills, a quick pre-show session, a full vocal workout.
NEW: Harmony training. Record one line, then sing a second over the top of it and hear them together. Up to four parts, all of them yours. Tell Scalita which part you are singing, a third, a fifth or an octave above the bottom voice, and it judges the interval you were aiming for instead of just whether you held something steady. When it sounds right there's a picture of the finished harmony you can share.
Subharmonics, Flageolet and Whistle. Most warmup apps stop at chest and head voice. Scalita lets you set a range for every register you actually use and unlocks three dedicated routines built to get you into them: the rattle under your chest voice, the flute tone above your range, and the whistle above that. You can even let flageolet blend into your regular warmups instead of keeping it in its own box.
There's a dedicated Rock and Metal Training routine for singers who need power, belt range, and stamina work. You won't find that in other warmup apps.
Not sure what exercises you need? Use "Find My Warmup." Tell Scalita how your voice feels right now (tired, tense, cold, stiff) and it picks exercises, tempo, and range for you. A full warmup, built on the fly.
Or go further with Adaptive Mode: no fixed plan at all. After every exercise you say how it went (good, meh, hard) and the next one adjusts. Tell it you have ten minutes and it paces the whole session to fit, cooldown included.
Every exercise shows technique tips and the syllable you should sing, so you always know what you're working on.
Use earphones and try vocal pitch monitoring to ensure you're following the scales on pitch. Tap any key to hear it and sing it back with a live pitch trail, or record a practice take and hear what you actually sang, not what you remember singing. Takes are kept, so you can come back to one next week and hear whether it moved.
You can build your own scales and routines from scratch: custom intervals, syllables, tempos, starting notes. Or use the Scale Detector to capture a pattern from any source (a YouTube video, a piano, a guitar) and turn it into a scale you can save and reuse.
Real Salamander samples across all 88 keys, A0 to C8. However low or high you sing, there's a recorded note for it.
Solfege (Do Re Mi) or letter names (C D E), your choice.
