21Bit's Pong mode features a ball that increases speed with every successful return during a rally, transforming long exchanges into high-pressure tests of reflexes as the pace of play escalates.

At the start of each point, the ball launches at a comfortable speed. After three or four exchanges it becomes noticeably faster, and by a rally of ten hits or more it moves quickly enough that precise positioning of your paddle matters more than its total coverage.

Ball speed resets to its starting value each time a point is scored, which means that a player who loses a long rally faces a fresh, slower ball on the next serve rather than a compounding disadvantage.

This acceleration mechanic rewards patience. A player willing to keep a rally going gains a faster ball, which can become an advantage if they spin it to a corner the AI cannot reach at that velocity.

The particle trail behind the ball makes it easier to track at peak speeds, giving you a visual cue of its path even when it crosses the court in under a second. 21Bit is offline and requires no sign-up.
