The experience opens with a brief station splash, then presents an active research dashboard listing ongoing polar studies. The core Skywatch session challenges timing, aim, and scientific judgment through a live dome view where satellites, stars, ice crystals, and deep-space probes follow distinct trajectories across the night sky.

Confirmed identifications populate a Discovery Archive, fund equipment upgrades such as cryo-optic lenses and spectral sensors, and unlock scientific expeditions to remote arctic corridors. Progress persists locally, rewarding sustained observation with research credits, streak bonuses, and access to rare orbital phenomena.
