Polaris SecuOne is an integrated mobile security application that safely protects users' smartphones from security threats in one service.
Secure your phone all at once!
· Quickly detects smishing texts impersonating financial institutions and tells you which link it is.
· Keep your phone safe by checking for malicious apps installed through 24-hour real-time scanning.
· A security scan checks your phone for vulnerabilities and even checks for installation of malicious apps and notifies you.
Main features
💊Security check
You can check everything from mobile phone vulnerabilities to the latest engine updates and mobile app scans at once.
🔍 Mobile app inspection
It scans apps and files installed on your phone and protects your phone 24 hours a day with a real-time surveillance service.
✉ Smishing inspection
We inspect links included in text messages such as smishing and messenger phishing and provide information about the link to the user without having to access it directly. Additionally, we keep your personal information safer through real-time smishing checks.
📃 SECU Report
We collect personalized data from the anti-virus functions used over a week and let users know more easily what they need to be careful about through Chat GPT and visualization data.
⏰ Scheduled inspection
If you reserve a mobile app inspection through reservation, the inspection will be performed by day and time without you having to do it yourself to ensure a safe mobile environment.
📷 QR scan
We will check the link included in the QR to make sure it is a safe link. In addition, through the shake QR scan, you can check the QR code more easily by simply shaking your phone at any time.
🔋Battery Management
From checking the available time to auxiliary functions for battery efficiency, management becomes easier.
📂Storage space management
Check and edit storage space by category. You can check everything from large files to unused apps at a glance.
App access permissions
In accordance with the Information and Communications Network Act for the Protection of Users Related to Smartphone App Access Rights, which came into effect on March 23, 2017, Polaris SecuOne accesses only the items absolutely necessary for the service, and the details are as follows.
1. Required access rights
• Internet, Wi-Fi connection information: Used for network connection when updating the engine.
• Check all app information in the terminal: Used to check whether malicious apps are installed in the terminal.
• App deletion request permission: Used to perform deletion of diagnosed malicious apps.
• App notification: Used to notify users when a security risk occurs.
• Terminal boot confirmation: Used to automatically update the engine of user settings and run scheduled scans when the terminal reboots.
2. Select access rights
* You can use the service even if you do not agree to the optional access rights, but the provision of functions that require such rights may be restricted.
• Drawing on top of other apps: When a malicious app is detected through real-time scanning, it is used to immediately notify the user.
• All file access rights: Used for file and folder scanning (malicious app scanning) and storage space management functions.
• Permission to access usage information: Used to check recently used app information in the battery management and storage space management functions.
• Notification access permission: Used to provide real-time smishing detection by reading notifications on the mobile phone.
• Alarm registration: Used to support scheduled inspections specified by the user.
• SMS/MMS permission: Used to provide real-time smishing detection through text.
※ Change access rights
• Android 6.0 or higher: Select consent or withdrawal in Settings > App or application > V-Guard secuOne > Select permissions.
• Android 6.0 and below: Since individual consent to each item is not possible, mandatory access consent is required for all items. Therefore, we recommend checking whether the operating system of the terminal you are using can be upgraded to Android 6.0 or higher and upgrading. However, even if the operating system is upgraded, the access permissions agreed to in the existing app do not change, so to reset the access permissions, you must delete and reinstall the app you have already installed.
