Surgery especially general surgery over the years has undergone tremendous changes. The goal of the treatment is shifting daily. It is no longer enough to just save lives and do surgery for that organ with large incisions and postoperative morbidity, it is also important to do all surgeries with fewer incisions. i.e. minimally invasive surgeries and attain good postoperative recovery with equally beneficial results. Considering these facts it was the need of time to establish a dedicated laparoscopic and endoscopic center in Hadapsar Pune which will provide all the specialized treatment under one roof.
DMHARC is a similar initiative taken by the renowned laparoscopic surgeon in Hadapsar Pune Dr. Chetan N. Mhaske. From his perspective, the best way to prepare for the future of minimally invasive centers is to be an active participant in starting a hospital setup & serve the community to the best of our clinical and surgical skills and our participation in the care of patients on local, state and national level.
