YOUR WAY
Distances in kilometers or miles. The app is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and you can switch the language in Settings.

LEADERBOARD (optional)
If you want, turn on the leaderboard and compare your distance with other people under a nickname you choose. It's optional: if you don't turn it on, no account is created. Link an email and you can take your profile to another phone.

GET YOUR PHONE READY
Android can restrict background apps and stop a run or a fast in progress. The app has a screen that shows, all at once, the settings that prevent this. None of them is required. The two that matter most:

- Location all the time: with the screen off, your run can lose part of the route and the distance comes out shorter than what you actually ran. In Permissions, Location, choose "Allow all the time".
- Battery optimization: the system can close the app when you lock the screen, stopping the run or the fast. Find Novaty Fit in the battery optimization list and choose "Don't optimize". On Motorola phones, this setting is especially important.

PRIVACY
By default, your workouts stay on your phone, and your GPS route is never sent to any server. Only the following leaves your phone:
- the distance and duration of outdoor runs, if you turn on the leaderboard;
- your history, if you turn on Premium cloud backup, plus the confirmation of your subscription with Google Play;
- in the free version, the data Google uses to show ads;
- technical crash reports, with no personal data.

You can delete your account and all data sent, right from the app, in Settings. Details in the privacy policy.

PERMISSIONS
- Location (including in the background): used only during a run you start, to record route, distance and pace, with a visible notification. Tracking ends when the run ends.
- Step counting: used in indoor running to calculate distance and cadence.
- Notifications and alarms: the run tracking card and the fasting alarm right on time.
- Camera: only when you take a photo for the workout share card.
