About Tonis Notenspur
With this free app, children aged 6 to 10 can get to know Leipzig's music history in a whole new way! There are lots of stories and games to discover along the way. The use of augmented reality makes the app a special experience. Are you ready? Then come on tour with Toni and Lyra!
Features included:
- A tour through the city center of Leipzig, where the cheeky musical note Toni and the girl Lyra tell exciting stories about the city's famous musicians at 23 stops. The two “guides” appear directly in the urban space using augmented reality.
- Numerous lovingly designed games arouse curiosity for Bach, Mendelssohn and Co.: puzzles, memories, quizzes and finding errors.
- The silver signposts ("intarsias") of the Leipzig music track are embedded in the sidewalks and connect the stations. Small Tonis (musical notes) are hidden on the signposts, which can be collected using the app.
- Once enough Tonis have been collected, instruments will be unlocked on "Toni's Stage" with which creative music can be made there!
Due to the GPS detection of the stations, the 23 stations can only be played in downtown Leipzig.
A tour of 6 stops takes approximately 1 hour.
