Mission Statement
The goal of the Driving While Impaired (DWI) Appalyzer is to provide a quick and fair way to judge the ability of a person to safely operate a motor vehicle. There are a multitude of factors that can impair a person’s ability to drive such as alcohol, drugs(prescriptions as well as illegal narcotics), fatigue, etc. Not all of these impairments can be accurately measured. Additionally, restrictions enforced by measurements can be overly restrictive or not strict enough due to an individual's particular tolerance of a given substance. Therefore, this application is designed to target the quality of specific abilities a person needs to safely operate a motor vehicle. This should result in the fairest judgment of a person's driving ability, other than an actual in-vehicle test. A major issue with performing an in-vehicle test on an impaired individual is that it puts themselves, others, and property at risk of becoming injured or destroyed. Ideally(though not reality), if a person cannot pass the DWI Appalyzer tests, it should be questioned if they would be able to pass an in-vehicle driving test, and susceptible to a DWI or DUI violation.

Neither this agreement nor any other documentation from the Driving While Impaired Appalyzer is intended to express or imply any warrant that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
