The ePortfolio is a record of learning for prevocational doctors in Australia
The ePortfolio for prevocational doctors is an application that acts as a record of learning for PGY1 and PGY2 prevocational doctors in Australia.
The National E-Portfolio will ensure that prevocational training for PGY1 and PGY2 doctors in Australia is delivered in a manner consistent with the Australian Medical Council’s two-year National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training.
This application facilitates interactions between prevocational doctors and supervisors including beginning of term discussions and completion of assessments of Entrustable Professional Activities throughout the PGY1 and PGY2 years. As a record of learning, the ePortfolio application also allows recording of information that can support PGY1 and PGY2 mid- and end-of-term assessment processes and help inform assessment outcomes.
