Dermatological Ultrasonography is part of the recent history of world Medicine and, even more, of the Brazilian. Created by a group of physicians Ultrasonographers, Radiologists and Dermatologists, in October 2020, the Brazilian Society of Dermatological Ultrasonography (SBUD) acts as a Commission in the Brazilian Society of Ultrasonography (SBUS) and a Subcommittee in the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR), having representatives in several states of the national territory. Standardizing the performance of these exams as a Medical Act, promoting scientific technical improvement, establishing and providing the bases for Dermatological Ultrasound, defending continuing medical education, focusing on scientific production and the exchange of knowledge between medical professionals working in the area are the main SBUD missions.
