Application of vows in Islam
We can say that the meaning of vow in our true religion is that it is an act of worship to which a person commits himself by entrusting himself with what God Almighty has not been entrusted with. It is an abominable act of worship and a miser is excluded from it, because a Muslim should not stipulate that he should fulfill God in order to draw closer to Him, as vows are stated in the Qur’an and God Almighty has commanded a command. Emphasizing the fulfillment of the vow and its performance, and every issue of a vow has its legal ruling, as we have brought to you in this application a simplified explanation of it as follows:
What is a vow, its simple definition, and the approved vowel formula to be considered a vow that must be performed legally?
As well as the conditions for a vow that must be met by the vower and the vowed person
Add to this the ruling on vows in Islam, as stated in the Qur’an and the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah
Then know the types of vows and distinguish between them correctly and which ones must be fulfilled
Finally, the expiation for a vow that Islam has made for those who are unable to fulfill the vow due to hardship and the inability to fulfill what they vowed to do.
