LitterLotto® is a free to enter monthly Prize Draw, with regular spot prizes and monthly jackpots, supported by the brands that want a cleaner environment. To enter, simply use the app to take a picture of litter as you place it in the bin. Each time you bin litter it’s another entry!

We’re on a mission to make litter a thing of the past, and with the support of some of your favourite brands, we’re giving away a massive monthly guaranteed Jackpot as well as 1000s of Spot Prizes. Putting litter in the bin has never been so rewarded.

We’re not actually a lotto – we’re a free Prize Draw, and there’s no cost to enter, other than putting litter in the bin. You can even boost your chances of winning by inviting your contacts to download and start binning litter too.

As well as eliminating litter, we report back to government and brands with data on it’s whereabouts. All information we gather is anonymised to ensure no one ever has your personal data or information.

The data we collect could help your local council or municipality on where to site more bins, or for brands to understand more about where their packaging’s disposed. Either way, the data that’s collected and passed on is about the litter – never about you!


Can I take stuff home to bin?

Absolutely. Taking it home gives your litter even more chance of being recycled - and means public litter bins needn’t be emptied so often. Make sure you put the litter in the correct bin – and don’t forget to take a pic through the LitterLotto app because you’re still entitled to entries, no matter whether it’s at home, work, or anywhere.

Can it be any bin?

Any litter bin eg home, work, school, park, High street… is fine – please ensure, if there are different slot’s for different types of litter, you use the right one – and don’t forget to take a pic through the LitterLotto app.

Does it have to be branded litter?

Not at all. We’re about preventing all litter, any brand or type. If it’s litter, put it in the bin.

Can I bin other peoples litter?

Sure. It can be your litter or any litter you collect (Please take care when picking up others litter to ensure it’s free of germs or hazards. Where possible, use gloves).

What’s the chance of winning the jackpot?

It depends on the amount of litter that’s binned per day (for Spot Prizes) and per month (for the Jackpot) – but there’s one way of increasing your chances – bin more and invite friends too! The selection is totally random, conducted by a 3rd party.

How many spot prizes are there?

Thousands a month. The more you bin, the higher you chances of winning one.

How do I know if I’ve won?

We’ll notify you through the App and if you’re a monthly jackpot winner you’ll get a call/text as well! Sometimes, for security, we need up to 48 hours to verify the win before paying out.

How does it work?

Bin it to Win it. It really is that simple. Put any litter in the bin, take a pic through the LitterLotto app – and you’ve got an entry. The more times you do it, the more entries you have – there’s no limit! We have spot-prizes and jackpots sponsored by the brands who want to support clearing litter.

Who pays for the prizes?

The brands that want to demonstrate their determination to eradicate litter. It’s not good for them either – and they too want a cleaner, tidier environment where there’s less harm to wildlife, less waste reaching our rivers and oceans – more recycling.

Is there a limit to how many times I can bin litter?

Nope! Each time you bin litter responsibly you get another entry into the monthly jackpot and more chances to win spot prizes. Just make sure you bin within the rules of LitterLotto to make sure your entries count!
