About Napkin - SMS Scanning Expense

An Expense Tracker that allows you to setup templates to read expenses from transactional SMS messages sent by Banks.
e.g. SMS that you receive upon credit card transactions, withdrawals, transfers can be setup as templates so that this app can automatically capture them and convert currencies if necessary. This way, you don't have to manually log expenses every time you make them.

This app works mostly offline, and your information on expenditure will not leave the phone. It connects with Internet only to get exchange rates to convert foreign expenses to local currency.

This app does not run in background either. Capturing new expenses will happen when you pull down the list to refresh.
