About Nokhba Player

Nokhba is a fast, modern media player for playlists you already own.

The app ships completely empty. To use it you must add your own playlist from a provider you already subscribe to. Nokhba is a player only, in the same way a music player contains no music.


Built for large playlists

Many players struggle with large playlists because they load the whole file into memory at once. Nokhba streams playlists into a local database in small pieces, so a list with hundreds of thousands of entries opens without freezing or crashing, including on older phones and TV boxes.


Add your source, four ways

• M3U or M3U8 link
• M3U playlist file from your device
• Xtream Codes portal (host, port, username, password)
• Stalker portal (MAC address)


Broad format support

Built on Media3 ExoPlayer, with playback for HLS, DASH, SmoothStreaming, RTSP, MPEG-TS and direct HTTP or HTTPS streams. Custom User-Agent and Referer headers can be set per channel for sources that require them.

• Picture-in-Picture, so playback continues while you use other apps

Search and organise

Full-text search returns results as you type, across hundreds of thousands of channels. Browse by category, mark favourites, and build your own playlists from any channels you choose. Watch history records where you left off.


Interface

A Material 3 interface with blur effects, light and dark themes, and full right-to-left support. Available in English, Arabic and French.

• Background importing, so you can keep using the app while a playlist loads
• Dead stream detection to find channels that no longer respond

• Entries labelled as adult are filtered automatically on import

You are responsible for the playlists you add and for holding the rights to access them. Nokhba has no affiliation with any playlist provider, streaming service or content owner, and cannot verify what a third-party source contains. We supply the player; the content is entirely yours.
