About Origami Basics

"Have you always wanted to learn how to do origami but didn't know where to start? Fear not, Origami Basics will teach you the things you need to know to get started. Once you have familiarized yourself with the symbols and notation used in origami diagrams, you can start folding some easy origami models. Remember, the best origami comes from people who practice so don't be afraid to try the same origami model more than once to gain experience.
The difference between ordinary paper and origami paper is only in terms of design and color which is very diverse, making origami more beautiful.
Our Origami Basics App is intended for the beginner. It introduces all of the major folds in origami and shows how they are done. It also provides a large number of simple models that aim to allow one to practice these folds. By the time you have finished this app activities, you should be able to fold most of the models in the other apps. If you cannot complete a particular fold or activitie, please do not give up. Keep trying! It is unusual for someone to get an entire model correct at the first time. You will need plenty of practice to make perfect.
