The Formwork Calculator is a "quantity take-off calculator" for formwork carpenters and construction sites. Simply select the area and enter the dimensions to calculate the formwork area. It can also handle common on-site quantity calculations such as the number of wall separators and P-cones, the volume of ready-mix concrete, and the number of plywood panels required.
【Calculation Capabilities】
・Formwork Area Calculation: Calculates the contact area of the formwork for each part of the wall, slab, column, and beam (walls: both sides, excluding openings; columns: perimeter; beams: bottom + both sides)
・Separator/P-Con Layout: Calculates the number of separators, P-Cons, and form ties in a grid pattern based on the wall dimensions and vertical/horizontal pitch (pitch is editable)
・Ready-Mix Concrete Volume: Calculates the volume and the number of mixer trucks required by considering the dimensions and quantity of the part and the loss rate
・Number of Plywood Panels: Calculates the required number of plywood panels (3ft x 6ft / 4ft x 8ft) based on the formwork area and loss rate
・Unit Conversion: Tsubo, square meters, tatami mats, shaku, kilograms, tons
