Kishoreganj is a district of Dhaka division. Earlier it was a subdivision under Mymensingh district. Kishoreganj has a rich past. The traditional Kishoreganj district has prospered in the tourism industry. For example, Isha Khan Jangalbari Fort is located in Jangalbari village of Karimganj upazila, seven kilometers from Kishoreganj city, Sholakia, the country's largest Eidgah, is located on the banks of Narsunda river in the eastern part of Kishoreganj district city. Dewan Haybat Khan, a descendant of Isha Khan, established the Eidgah. It is known that the first Eid congregation was held here in 1850. Since then Eid congregation has been held regularly.
