About JoPDA
JoPDA is the waiter handheld for JustOrder, built for restaurants and cafes that take orders at the table.
Designed for compact rugged devices, it puts the whole service flow in one hand:
- Floor plan: see every table at a glance, with occupancy, guest count and the running balance
- Take orders: browse categories and products, choose sizes, addons and meal deals, add kitchen notes
- Send to kitchen: only the new items go, and you return to the floor for the next table
- Split and settle: pay the whole bill or selected items, with the amount owed always coming from the server
- Gift cards: sell a gift card and capture the recipient's details at the table
- Live updates: a payment taken at the till appears on the handheld immediately
JoPDA shares the same table and order system as the JustOrder POS and the waiter tablet, so a table opened on one device can be continued on another.
Requires a JustOrder account. A branch manager pairs the device to a branch during setup; staff then sign in with their own PIN.
