Arbain Nawawi Hadith or Al-Arba'in An-Nawawiyah is a book containing forty-two selected hadiths compiled by Imam Nawawi. Arba'in means forty, but actually there are forty-two hadiths contained in this book. This book, together with the book Riyadhus Shalihin, is considered the most famous work of Imam Nawawi and is accepted by Muslims throughout the world. This book is a favorite among students to start memorizing the Prophet's hadiths before moving on to larger books.
