• Pivot activities: Use short interactive exercises designed to interrupt autopilot and create space for a deliberate choice.

• Reset Reading: Read focused material and record whether it helped, allowing later recommendations to adapt.

• Optional app and website protection: Add friction around selected apps and adult websites, with clear setup controls.

VpnService disclosure: Impulsive uses Android’s VpnService solely to support its optional app and website protection feature. When protection is enabled by the user, the service creates an on-device VPN connection that allows Impulsive to identify and restrict access to selected websites and online distractions. Impulsive is not a general-purpose VPN service and does not use VpnService to provide anonymous browsing, change the user’s location, or connect to a commercial VPN server.

• Focus Mode: Start a timed focus session and reduce distractions.

• Progress: Review activity and progress without shame-based relapse labels.

• Backup and recovery: Use supported secure recovery options for selected app information.
