It is a free and an all-in-one APP designed to meet the needs of the digital community of Holy Flock of Christ. This is particularly necessary when busy or travelling and where you do not have immediate access to some of the books use in our prayer meetings and services. You can easily download the App for your friends use when they fellowship with you.
NB: thIs should not replace the hard copies wherever and whenever possible.
FEATURES:
Hymns- this includes both English and Yoruba Hymns as well as the Canticles.
How to use this feature:
The songs are as arranged in our hymnal in terms of numbering and sections.
The hymns may be arranged in descending order after downloading the App. You can rearrange them in the order you want by selecting 'title' from the 'sort by' at the three-point setting located on top right to change the order of hymns (i.e: from number 001-676 or in reverse order).
The moment you open the home page, all pages in each section would be displayed as 'unread' with the number of pages in each section displayed. Select 'mark all read' from the three-dots on the top right of the home screen to clear them or you may leave them (your choice).
You can choose the layout of your choice.
The background theme (light or dark modes) can be changed from the slide menu. Dark mode is preferable in the night.
1. No. 000: this represents the index or chronological arrangement of the hymns according to church calendar and events.
2. You can search for any hymn by number (preferred), first line, title or lyrics that you know about the hymn.
3. The last time you open any hymn may be shown under its title. This only happens if they are in unread mode.
4. You can add or remove hymns from your favourite (Liked) list located in slide menu.
5. You can copy or share hymn lyrics.
6. The text size can be adjusted.
Prayer Outlines: this contains prayer points for special prayer meetings which serve as templates to build our prayers on.
Events/Programs: monthly arraignment of the church events and Programs are contained here for easy access.
Sermon Topics: this feature provides some related themes or topics that may be useful for sermons and teachings relevant to some of the church seasonal events. These are in monthly arraignment for church events or programs that are scheduled for such month.
Each topic can be rephrased to make it easier for teaching and understanding.
Most topics have scriptural references that are near appropriate to each topic while few are without. More can be added or provided to address each topic based on individual preferences.
