Xyzzy has off the shelf map generation, saves, undos, and hints.
This is not a Z Machine wrapper, but rather a ground up engine rewrite of the original Z-Machine engine designed specifically for mobile.
Rediscover the golden age of text adventures.
Includes many mobile quality of life updates:
- Ability to click on nouns
- Ability to change font size, colors, etc.
- Real world hints if you get stuck (These original games were difficult)
- A cheat sheet of commands in settings
- Mapping system tracking where you've been
- Multiple save files for each game
- Other basic UI changes to make this work properly for mobile
