Y999 is a unique number puzzle game built with Flutter. The core mechanic challenges players to find and connect pairs of number tiles whose values add up to exactly 888. Each level presents a fresh arrangement of number tiles. Players must scan the board, calculate potential sums, and pair tiles efficiently to clear the field. Correct matches earn points, and consecutive successful pairings build a combo multiplier that rewards speed and precision. Completing levels unlocks new difficulty tiers: Timed Mode introduces a countdown clock, while Challenge Mode offers boards with more tiles and fewer obvious matches.
The in-game hint system highlights a valid pair when activated, helping players through particularly complex boards. Hints are a limited resource that can be replenished through the built-in hint shop using points earned during gameplay. This creates a self-sustaining economy where skilled play directly funds future assistance.
The visual design draws from the aesthetic of a classic green chalkboard. Emerald and white tones dominate the interface, with all screens set against hand-crafted chalkboard textures. Number tiles are rendered as clean, high-contrast elements that remain legible at any screen size. The layout adapts automatically to different device dimensions.
