What if gross little monsters were really hiding in your garden? 👀🌿

Gooblies is a hide-and-seek game for kids that turns the garden into a real playground.

The idea is simple: define the garden area, start a game… and the Gooblies run off to hide somewhere inside it.

There is no map showing you exactly where to go.
Your smartphone becomes a hot-and-cold radar: the closer you get to hidden Gooblies, the stronger the signal becomes.

You have to walk, search, retrace your steps, and explore the garden to find them all.

🕵️ Find all the Gooblies

At the beginning of the adventure, you receive your first Gooblies.

In every game, they automatically choose new hiding spots in the garden.

Your goal: find them all using the radar.

Every game is different, because their hiding places change every time.

A corner of the garden where nothing was hiding a few minutes ago can suddenly become the perfect hiding place for a little monster.

📡 Your phone becomes a radar

The radar does not show you exactly where the Gooblies are hiding.

It only tells you whether you are getting closer or moving farther away.

Cold…

Warm…

Hot…

Very hot…

Found one!

This turns the phone into a tool for exploring the real garden instead of a screen to sit in front of.

👾 Collect new Gooblies

The more you play, the more progress you make toward discovering new Gooblies.

After several successful games, the next Gooblies meter fills up.

When it reaches 100%, something new arrives in the garden…

New Gooblies can then hide along with the others.

It’s up to you to find them, discover what they look like, and add them permanently to your collection.

Over time, your collection grows and more little monsters come to live in your garden.

🧁 Feed your Gooblies

Gooblies love playing hide-and-seek.

The problem is… it makes them hungry.

After several games, some Gooblies will need a good cupcake before they are ready to hide again.

Feed them, watch their sometimes silly reactions… and they’ll be ready for another round.

The Gooblies you discover stay in your collection: they do not disappear just because they are hungry.

🌿 A smartphone game that is played outside

Gooblies was created around one simple idea:

use the smartphone to encourage kids to move and play outside.

The game takes place in a previously defined outdoor area, usually the family garden.

Once the game starts, the screen mainly acts as a radar. To win, kids really have to move around outside and search.

Gooblies is not about battles or dozens of complicated stats.

The core of the game always stays the same:

Play → search → find → feed → collect → play again.

This makes it easy for children to quickly understand how it works and start playing without learning complicated rules.
