About Amino Acid Test

Improve your knowledge of all 23 proteinogenic amino acids! This app provides useful information for each chemical, providing a structural diagram, molecular properties, and interesting biological trivia. You can search for acids by name, or sort them by properties such as molecular mass or side-chain type. Each molecule is color-coded by its side-chain, to help your revision!

When you're finished learning, take a quiz to revise amino acids all together, or individually if you just want that extra bit of focus! Questions appear in a bite-sized, multiple-choice format which will help you remember structural diagrams, acid letter codes, and functional group properties. Perfect for university-level students, or the interested public!

Will you pass the Acid Test?
