You can contribute to fighting robocall scams that target senior citizens, children, and other vulnerable communities.

Funded by a National Science Foundation grant, Gabriel is a social call authentication app that detects scam SMS text messages and blocks spam calls. Gabriel includes special algorithms designed to detect violations of three federal laws including the Fair Debt Collection Act; and 50 state nuisance robocall prevention laws.

By adding another Android user to your Purple Alert Favorites, you receive near real-time notifications when Gabriel detects a financial scam SMS message targeting your loved ones.
Gabriel also automatically registers your Android phone in the National Do Not Call registry and files complaints on your behalf with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

This beta version includes new features still under development, and may become unstable in presentation and performance. Forward Edge encourages feedback as it helps improve our customer experience.

What's New
Please continue to test all major functions such as Call Blocking, Purple Alerts, SMS spam detection, and the Swarm Game. Gabriel is free for the first 100,000 downloads. However, an in app purchase is required to redeem points through electronic gift cards. See Terms of Service for Official Rules. Open only to Gabriel users who reside in the 50 U.S.
