About FairChore: Family Chore Chart

FairChore splits household chores with a zero-sum points system. Where other chore apps reward the best performer, FairChore measures what each person owes the others.

HOW IT WORKS

Every chore earns points for whoever does it, and takes points from the other members it concerns. The household total always adds up to zero. "Am I doing more than my share?" finally has a number for an answer, and your debt clears as soon as you get back to work.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Log a chore in seconds
Dishes, groceries, bins, laundry, bathroom: pick the chore, the points split themselves.

• Tune the points to your own home
Create your own categories and chore types. If nobody wants a chore, raise its points until someone takes it; if everyone fights over one, lower them. The balance is settled in your home, not in the app.

• Choose who each chore concerns
A 6-year-old is not concerned by "Cook dinner", a 12-year-old is concerned by "Clear the table". Your choice is remembered next time.

• Schedule recurring chores
Tuesday bins, Saturday cleaning, monthly windows: the chore comes back on its own and a reminder arrives on the day.

• Create profiles for your children
Up to 7 supervised accounts, no email address needed. They take part, you keep control.

• Follow the household ranking
Who is in credit, who is in debt, and by how much. It is not a leaderboard of the most deserving: it is a debt you can pay back.
