MedAT Vorbereitung
Practice MedAT-H and MedAT-Z: BMS, Text Comprehension, KFF and SEK for Austria
About MedAT Vorbereitung
Do you want to study human or dental medicine in Austria? Then your path leads through the MedAT entrance exam. With this app, you can specifically practice for the MedAT-H (human medicine) and the MedAT-Z (dentistry).
Important note: This is an unofficial, independent learning app. It is not an offer from the Medical Universities of Vienna, Innsbruck, and Graz, nor from the Faculty of Medicine at the JKU Linz, and is in no way affiliated with the MedAT entrance exam. The questions are practice questions in the style of the MedAT, not questions from the actual test.
Important note: This is an unofficial, independent learning app. It is not an offer from the Medical Universities of Vienna, Innsbruck, and Graz, nor from the Faculty of Medicine at the JKU Linz, and is in no way affiliated with the MedAT entrance exam. Here's what the app offers:
• Over 4,000 practice questions across 100 tests in the MedAT Preparation course
• Lessons covering the MedAT test sections: Basic Knowledge Test for Medical Studies (BMS) including biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics; Text Comprehension; Cognitive Abilities and Skills (KFF) including memory; and Social-Emotional Competencies (SEK)
• Explanations and solutions for many questions, so you understand instead of just memorizing
• Study plan: An assistant creates a daily schedule for you leading up to your test date
• AI learning companion (beta) that answers your questions about questions and learning content
• Progress indicator, course certificate, XP, and leaderboard to keep you on track
• Community for connecting with others preparing for the MedAT
• Learn whenever it suits you, directly on your smartphone (internet connection required)
In the MedAT Preparation course, you'll become familiar with the question formats of the medical school entrance exam and practice the individual test sections. After each test, you'll see your results and identify areas where you need more practice. This way, you'll be well-prepared for test day.
The second course, "Scientific Foundations for Medical Studies," refreshes your high school knowledge in science and mathematics, along with German, logic, and general knowledge. Step by step, you'll review the fundamentals you need for the BMS (Basic Medical Studies). You take the BMS for both the MedAT-H and MedAT-Z.
Good to know: The "Manual Skills" section of the MedAT-Z (wire bending and shape mirroring) is best practiced with wire and paper, as the app doesn't cover it.
How it works:
The download is free. To use the app, you need a free account, which is registered via your email address. The course preview shows you the structure of each course. You unlock full access to a course permanently with a one-time in-app purchase; each course is unlocked individually. There is no subscription.
