Haryana Progressive School’s Conference, an association of CBSE and ICSE affiliated schools in the state of Haryana has an exalted aim i.e. to achieve excellence. Schools affiliated to CBSE in district Gurgaon & Faridabad formed an association in 1989 and successfully implemented the programmes to develop competitive spirit amongst the students of its member schools. The main objective of this association is to grow collectively on the basic principle of care and share and impart quality education. The member schools have set several mile stones in their achievements. Haryana Progressive Schools Conference in short, HPSC has expanded with its membership all over Haryana.

HPSC has been excelling in academics, sports and other co-curricular activities areas as well, testimony of which is enormous craze for the admissions in our members schools.

Today, Haryana Progressive Schools Conference stands tall in the field of imparting quality education, HPSC can boast about its reputation in the society due to the dedicated service, members are rendering to the society. Many of HPSC’s members have put in more than fifty years as the educators and promoters of quality institution.I am proud of our young educational entrepreneurs, who are adding new flavours to our endeavour by using their expertise of modern techniques and educational technology.Gradually some vested interests started propagating negative waves against the public schools.

The public schools started facing problems from the government and government agencies in day to day smooth functioning and other pressures were built up officially, legally and as in some cases by way of putting pressures on one or two school as an example for others to ensure humble submission or face consequence.

Since most of the schools were facing one or the other problems, an effort was made toorganize ourselves, so we could the on slaughts of the government and its agenciescollectively. Thus in 1989, this association (HPSC) came in existence with a clear understanding that “UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL”
