About EDClass App

EDClass is a safeguarding and remote-learning platform used by schools,
multi-academy trusts and local authorities across the UK. This app gives
staff secure access to the safeguarding tools they rely on during the
school day, from wherever they are.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Alerts
Review safeguarding alerts raised during live sessions, see the detail
behind each one, and keep track of what still needs attention.

Wellbeing
Work through wellbeing and nurture tasks assigned to the learners in
your care.

General issues
Read and follow up on general issues logged against learners.

Behaviour sanctions
See behaviour records and sanctions in one place.

Student streams
View live camera streams from learners in timetabled sessions, so
safeguarding cover continues when you are away from your desk.

Assistant
Ask questions and get answers drawn from your organisation's own
EDClass knowledge base.

Inbox
Receive notifications so nothing waits unseen.

WHO IT IS FOR

EDClass is provided to schools, multi-academy trusts and local
authorities under licence. What you can see and do in the app follows
the permissions set by your organisation.

ACCESS

An EDClass account is required. Accounts are issued by your school,
trust or local authority — the app does not offer self-service
registration. If you do not have an account, contact your organisation's
EDClass administrator.

PRIVACY AND SAFEGUARDING

EDClass handles sensitive information about children. Access is
restricted by role, and your organisation controls which records each
member of staff can reach.
