About Deemples: Find Golf Buddies & Golf Booking

Deemples allows you to join other golfer's golf games, or create your own and let others join you. It matches golfers who are looking to play golf, to golfers who are hosting games. Why only play with the same few friends, when you can expand your network through Deemples!

Deemples pay:
Deemples Pay is a facility where golf courses/game hosts can accept payments upfront online and secure your golf booking. Rates are normally cheaper than paying at the counter in person. (Only available in Malaysia for now)

Deemples handicap:
Deemples currently uses the USGA formulas for its handicap calculation. The Deemples handicap is not recognised or an official handicap of any golf club. Golfers use the Deemples handicap because scores used to calculate the handicap cannot be submitted by the golfer, but require 2 other golfers in the Deemples game to submit the same adjusted gross score, course rating and slope rating for the golfer, for it to show and count for handicapping purposes.
This submission method makes it the most trusted and non manipulatable golf handicap.
The Deemples handicap will be moving to the World Handicap System in due time.

Why golfers use Deemples:
Golf takes 4-5 hours for 18 holes, 2 hours to travel both ways, and 1-2 hours to eat and shower = about an 8 hour activity, pretty much the whole day. At the same time, schedules are getting tighter, people getting busier, and everyone has less time. This makes organising golf a pain for most golfers, checking who's available when, where each player prefers to play etc.
It got to a point where most golfers just want to get a game in regardless if their friends could make it but then again who likes to play alone? Or rock up to the golf course just to find out there are no open slots and everyone there is in a foursome.

How to use Deemples:
Browse through available games in the app in your area, or if nothing fits, create your own and let others join you and ask golfers to join and secure your golf booking by paying upfront online.

What if i’m new to golf:
Try the Driving Range game type as you might not be ready to get on the golf course for 9 or 18 holes. Everyone is new to golf at some point, so don't worry if you don't know anything about golf. Create a driving range game on Deemples and ask questions to people who join your game. It's tough getting into golf, so we hope Deemples will allow you to meet other golfers who can help you.
