About I'm Okay

I'm Okay is a simple safety app for migrant workers living abroad and the family and friends they want to stay close to.

One tap a day tells the people at home that you are safe. If something goes wrong, one button lets them know that too.

━ DAILY CHECK-IN
Tap "I'm Okay" once a day. Your family sees the time straight away. If a day passes with no check-in, they are notified so they can reach out.

━ SOS ALERT
Hold the SOS button to alert every family member you are connected to, with your city attached. The alert reaches their phone even if the app is closed. (I'm Okay notifies your own contacts only — it does not call police, ambulance or your embassy. In a real emergency, always contact local emergency services directly.)

━ PRIVATE CHAT
A separate, private one-to-one chat with each person you approve — text, photos and voice notes. Photos and voice notes delete themselves automatically after a few hours. No group chats, and your contacts never see one another.

━ YOU DECIDE WHO CONNECTS
You create a 6-digit code and share it only with people you trust. Nobody is connected until you accept their request. You can rename, remove or block any contact at any time.

━ KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
Embassy and emergency numbers for your country of work, plain-language guidance on common problems — contracts, passports, unpaid wages — and helpline numbers for home.

━ EVERYDAY HELP
• Translator — type or speak, get an instant translation in the local language
• Home away from home — find nearby South Asian shops, restaurants and money-transfer points
• Home Radio — listen to stations from home while you work
• Check-in selfie — send a quick photo with your check-in (auto-deletes after 24 hours)

━ LANGUAGES
English, বাংলা, हिन्दी and اردو.

━ PRIVACY BY DESIGN
No account. No email, phone number or real name. No ads, no analytics, no tracking of any kind. Your data is encrypted in transit and stored in the EU, and each device can only ever see its own room. Location sharing is off by default and only ever shares your city — never a precise position. Delete everything at any time with one tap ("Unpair").
