PetBar uses Android's AccessibilityService API solely for the following purposes:
• Display a custom emoji battery & status bar overlay on top of the system status bar.
• Detect app window transitions (TYPE_WINDOW_STATE_CHANGED) to automatically hide all overlays — including screen pets and stickers — when full-screen or excluded apps are active.
• Ensure consistent visual alignment across different device cutouts and notches.
PetBar does not read screen content, track keystrokes, or collect, use, or share any personal or sensitive data through this API. This feature requires explicit user consent and can be disabled anytime in system settings.
