Corsicana Country Club features AW Tillinghast designed golf course with Champions Ultra-Dwarf greens.
The Corsicana Country Club is conveniently located near both Cedar Creek Lake and Richland-Chambers Lake, and is an easy drive from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Club’s origins dates back to 1917. The challenging design of the 18-hole golf course is attributed to Willie Lorimer and A.W. Tillinghast. Other Tillinghast designs include Brook Hollow Golf Club, Dallas, TX, Winged Foot Golf Club, New York, Baltusrol Golf Club, New Jersey, Bethpage State Park (Black), Long Island, NY and Brackenridge Park Golf Course, San Antonio, TX. For 55 years the Club has hosted the annual Tiger Tale Member-Guest Tournament attracting competitors from throughout the state.
The course is a par 71 track with rolling fairways that follow the contour of the land. There are five separate tee boxes that play between 6,493 and 5,140 yards creating playability for all ages and skill levels. The five par 3 holes provide differing challenges that culminate in a test of putting skills. Due to its smaller membership, CCC is one of the few clubs that does not take tee times. Although offering other first-class amenities, golf is of foremost importance to its members.
