The kite continuously ascends, with the background scrolling to simulate rising altitude.
Gusts pull the kite sideways (wind direction is indicated on the screen).
Press and hold the screen to let out line and stabilize the kite, mitigating the impact of gusts and pulling the kite back.
If the line tension gauge gets too high or the kite drifts too far off-course → the line snaps, ending the game.
The score increases with flight altitude (endless mode; there is no specific completion goal).
