About Inductor Color Code Calculator

Welcome to our inductor calculator app! Whether you need to determine inductor values through color bands or by directly inputting inductance, our app is designed to make the process easy and efficient.

This app supports four band inductors, and the values consists of 2 numerals, a multiplier, and a tolerance band.

Color-to-Value:

Select the colors on your inductor from the dropdown menus. The calculated values will be displayed under the inductor at the top of the screen. On smaller screens, the dropdowns become scrollable for ease of selection.

Value-to-Color:

Input the desired inductance value while adhering to proper input guidelines. Select the preferred units and specify tolerance. The inductor and value will be updated as you continue to update the fields.

Additional Functionalities:

- SMD Inductor Calculator: Our app also includes a Surface-Mount Device (SMD) inductor calculator. Easily convert SMD codes to inductance values.

- Sharing Inductors: You can share the inductor you have created either by text or by image! To do this click the 3 vertical dots in the top right and select which method you'd like to share.
