Genesis is a high-stakes, real-time 1v1 multiplayer arcade game that reinvents classic Tag for the cyberpunk era. Trapped in a neon-grid city shrouded in darkness, you are randomly assigned a role: the Runner or the Chaser.

THE GAMEPLAY LOOP

Phase 1: The Head Start The Runner spawns in the center. The system grants a 10-second head start. The Chaser is frozen and blinded. As the Runner, use this time to break line-of-sight, find a loop in the maze, and disappear into the fog.

Phase 2: The Hunt The Chaser is released. The map is pitch black—you can only see a few meters ahead. You must rely on instinct, memory, and tactical audio cues to locate your opponent.

The Runner: Survive for 300 seconds. Juke, hide, and outmaneuver the enemy.

The Chaser: Eliminate the target. Contact results in an instant win.

TACTICAL MECHANICS

Fog of War: Vision is limited. You cannot see across the map. Use the darkness to your advantage to ambush or escape.

System Radar: Every 20 seconds, the central mainframe pulses. The fog lifts for 5 seconds, revealing both players' exact locations. Plan your attack or your escape route during these brief windows of light.

Sonar Orbs: Collect rare Gold Orbs scattered in the maze to charge your personal Sonar. Activate it to reveal the enemy's location instantly without waiting for the global timer.
