About The Bear Bible

The Bear Bible reflects the literary beauty of the so-called Golden Age of Spanish literature. In the History of the Spanish heterodox, the Catholic scholar Marcelino Menéndez Pelayo praised the bear's Bible from a literary point of view, which he considered to be better written than the Catholic versions of Felipe Scío de San Miguel (1793) and Félix Torres Amat (1825).

Cipriano de Valera took out in 1602 a review of the bear's bible called the pitcher's bible. Valera's text served as the basis for the reviews published by the United Bible Societies since 1865 under the name of Reina-Valera.
