Bekinash is a lowest-unique-bid auction for real products, built for Ethiopia.

HOW IT WORKS

Pick an amount. If exactly one person chooses that amount, it is unique. If two or more people choose it, it is out. When the auction closes, the lowest amount chosen by exactly one paid bidder wins.

It is not about bidding the most. It is about choosing the number nobody else thought of.

WHAT IT COSTS

Each entry has a fee, shown on the auction and again before you pay. Fees start at 1 ETB and are set per auction, so always check the amount on the bid screen.

The entry fee is charged when you place the bid and is not refunded once the bid becomes active. If you win, you pay your winning bid amount for the item separately.

PAYING

Pay with Telebirr or CBE Birr. Approve the prompt on your phone to activate your entry. Bekinash never asks for your mobile-money PIN.

YOUR BIDS

Your amounts stay private while an auction is running. Track every entry in My bids: active, matched, pending, failed and won. Retry or cancel a payment that did not go through.

IN AMHARIC AND ENGLISH

The app opens in Amharic and you can switch to English at any time from Profile.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Sign in with your Ethiopian phone number and an SMS code. No password to remember. You can delete your account and personal information from inside the app at any time, verified by SMS.
