Local Notes is a simple, private notes app and offline notepad for capturing ideas, reminders, lists, quick notes, and everyday thoughts.

Take notes quickly by typing or using voice-to-text. With built-in voice dictation, you can turn speech into text and create notes without typing. Organize everything with titles, descriptions, tags, pinned notes, search, and image attachments.

Your notes stay on your device. No account is required, and your note content is not synced to a Local Notes cloud server.

PRIVACY-FOCUSED BY DESIGN

Local Notes is designed for people who want a simple and private way to take notes.

Your notes, titles, tags, attachments, voice transcripts, and profile name are stored locally on your device. Local Notes does not upload your note content to a Local Notes server, and no account is required.

Backups are created or imported only when you explicitly choose to do so.

Ads may use third-party advertising services, which can process device, network, and ad-interaction information according to their own policies. Your note content, attachments, and voice transcripts are not included in ad requests.

PERMISSIONS

Microphone access is requested only when you use voice dictation.

Image access is used only when you choose to attach images to your notes.

IMPORTANT

Deleting or reinstalling Local Notes may remove notes stored on your device. If your notes are important, export a backup regularly.
