About Panic Button Productivity App

Let’s take a minute to discover why the Panic Button Productivity App works. Our brains control everything we do. The large upper part is divided into a right and left hemisphere. The much smaller, lower part is called the amygdala.

We consciously control the right and left sides of our brain, but not the amygdala. It reacts immediately to threats. We have no direct control of our amygdala since it responds subconsciously, without our awareness.

When a predator, such as a hungry saber tooth tiger, threatened our earliest ancestors, their primitive brains automatically “turned-on.” Powerful chemicals were instantly released into their bodies.

A key to being in control, fulfilled, and happy is to limit the time you spend in amygdalar function. Your “fight or flight” reaction should only be experienced when there is a direct physical threat to your survival.
