The National Conference on Child Health and Well-Being, held in Chicago, IL, will mobilize the child and school health community to invest in sustainable solutions to real world challenges.
The three-day event will inspire and educate audiences such as district and school administrators, teachers, staff, parents, caregivers, state leaders, community members, and those who educate and influence them.
KEY NOTE SPEAKERS:
Alex Sheen, Founder of “because I said I would”, a 5x TEDx and internationally known speaker will discuss the importance of making and keeping promises to ourselves, each other, and humanity.
Bob Murray, MD is a Board member of Action for Healthy Kids as well as of the Children’s Hunger Alliance. He is currently Professor of Pediatrics, Division of GI & Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He will graciously speak on, ““Developing the Three Foundations of Lifelong Health Using the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child Approach.”
Eyal Bergman, EdLD is a systems leader for equity and co-author of the Dual Capacity-Building Framework for Family-School Partnerships (Version 2). Join us for his presentation, “How to Build a Family Engagement Practice that Becomes an Engine for Equity.”
Mike Kuczala has delivered keynotes, given presentations, facilitated professional development, and taught graduate courses on 4 continents. His presentations, courses, books, and videos have reached more than 100,000 teachers, trainers, corporate executives, and parents. At the National Conference on Child Health and Well-Being, Mike will discuss, “The Physical Life Inside and Outside the Classroom.”
Meena Srinivasan, MA, National Board-Certified Teacher, is a South Asian-American edupreneur with deep expertise in the fields of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Mindfulness in Education. Meena will present, “Mindfulness & Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in Service of Belonging”
