About Apex and Abyss

Apex and Abyss is a tactical, turn based strategy RPG roguelite a gacha hero collector where every fight is real grid tactics. Build a six hero formation and battle through 200 themed floors: climb the Tower toward the light, or descend the Abyss like a dungeon crawler into the dark. Same roster, two directions, a different run every time.


CHARGE TIME TACTICS
Turn order is driven by speed. When a hero's action gauge fills, move across a 12×12 grid, then take one action. Height, cover, and facing decide the rest. No timers, no rush, real turn based tactics that ask something of you.

200 THEMED FLOORS
One hundred floors up the Tower, one hundred down the Abyss: twenty distinct themes in all, from the Crown Spire to the Forgotten Undercroft, each with its own palette, hazards, and enemies.


23 HEROES, 50+ BRANCHING SKILLS
Collect 23 heroes across four core classes: Warrior, Rogue, Mage, and Cleric. Each branches mid run at level 5: Warrior into Paladin or Warbringer, Rogue into Nightblade or Pathfinder, Mage into Elementalist or Chronomancer, Cleric into Priest or Templar. Burn lingers, frost slows the turn order, bleed compounds: status effects are the language of late game play.


A GACHA THAT SHOWS ITS WORK
Drop rates and the pity counter are printed right on the summon screen: Legendary 1% (guaranteed by 90 pulls), Epic 10% (guaranteed by 30), Rare 40%, Common 49%. Diamonds and summon scrolls are earned through play, daily gifts, and Arena placement. Stamina refills over time.

* A gear-score-matched Arena ladder — battle real players' actual squads and gear, fought asynchronously on your own time: no live matchmaking, no timers, no waiting on anyone
* Rotating weekly boss raids
* Nightmare Mode, unlocked by clearing both 100 floor climbs
* A Forge for crafting gear and socketing runes
* A Bestiary recording all 53 monster types and 8 named bosses


▲ TWO CROWNS, ONE LEGEND
Reach the summit of the Tower and the floor of the Abyss to earn both crown halves, then fuse them at the Forge into a class locked mythic tuned to the hero who earned it. Finishing both climbs throws open Nightmare Mode.
