This app is a tool designed to help figure out easy finger positions for various Ragas or musical scales which may be difficult to finger with the standard Sa or tonic note position at first three holes closed.

Another use of this app is to figure out fingerings for various Ragas if the Sa needs to be moved for reasons of key change. For example, at standard Sa position, Bhairavi scale involves half holing of all the holes which is quite challenging for most players to play with speed and accuracy. If this Sa is moved to, say, Ni the whole scale can be played without any half holing at all.
