About TNW Tickets

The app for the TNW network (Tariff Association of Northwestern Switzerland). Buy TNW tickets easily, securely and without using cash.
TNW Tickets is Switzerland’s first smartphone app for transport network tickets: quick, easy and secure.

Functions:
Range: Buy tickets for short trips, zones, day passes, multi-ride card and special tickets of the TNW easily, quickly and securely.
Favourite: Save ticket preference with number of tickets and class selection for quick selection.
Payment method: Pay easily and securely with Mastercard, Visa or Postfinance Debit Card.
Locate-Me: Automatically establish the current place of departure and the departing stop.
Co-passengers: Take up to seven friends on your journey with you; a total of eight tickets per trip is possible.
Rate: The app automatically calculates the correct rate from the place of departure to the destination.
Search: Find your destination stop using the Search by place/stop.
Route: All possible routes including via connections are displayed for you to choose from.
Short trips: Alphabetic list of the short trips from the stop of departure.
Password: Optionally save the purchase process with a password.
Receipt: Send the receipt by e-mail.
History: Saves the tickets for ten days in the ticket history.


Registration SwissPass Half-Fare travelcard:
With the registration of the SwissPass Half-Fare travelcard the control information is displayed directly in the dissolved ticket. You just have to show the smartphone while ticket inspection. The SwissPass Half-Fare travelcard stays in the pocket, with the exception of spot-checks.

Save your multi-trip cards:
Backup your multi-trip cards with a one-time registration via SMS. This allows you in case of a device replacement or device loss to continue to use previously purchased multi-trip cards. By activating the option all previous and new purchases of your multi-trip cards will be secured and linked to your mobile phone number.
